Henry David Thoreau
Henry David Thoreau, the American author, poet, philosopher, abolitionist, naturalist, tax resister, development critic, surveyor, historian, and leading transcendentalist turns 150 years old this year. In 1993 Baraboo Artist and UW-Madison printmaking alum Ann Parker produced and installed 18, 30”x 50” prints to fit together to create a continuous image, 54’ long, that winds around the the entry area of the school.
